    Great price on a 41'

    http://www.performanceboatbrokerage....sp?boat_id=264

This one has been listed for a little while so I went and took a look this weekend and thought it looked like a really nice pleasure 41'. I crawled around it and didn't really see any issues. There are a few cosmetic things like the double bow rail and the goofy horn. but I think if guy planned on keeping the current power and the #3 drives you could probably do some nice updates to this thing for 10k and have a really nice piece. I would just update the dash and guages. Maybe add a graphic and some long k-planes.

If someone is looking for a classic wave crusher at reasonable price this is worth a look.

Brett has the survey and would be happy to show it to ya or send it to ya. There isn't anything on there that isn't obvious and of minimal concern.

Whenever I read of a inexpensive Apache's I think back to the one bought by Jay13.

Well that is interesting... I wonder if that is the survey that I paid for??

Probably would make someone a great boat -- I think the 10K figure might be a tad light though. It wasn't what I wanted to start with, I'm just glad that i had the survey done rather than drive 24 hrs round trip...

    Dave

    BTW -- still looking ---

There are a lot of quirky things like that from the era on this baby. I love the double barrel horn as well. As I was sitting in it I envisioned what it would have been like rolling into a South Florida canal in the dark of night in this baby back in 88'.

Lettuce, as far as my 10k number being light it could very well be. That is how boat upgrades usually go. I was figuring myself doing most of the work so that was what I roughly came up with for parts and supplies. I am sure if you are paying someone $100 an hour to do the work for you things could get a bit more spendy.

My point in the thread was that if someone is looking for a pleasure 41' this is worth a look. If a guy wants #6's and to run 95mph this wouldn't be as good of a candidate.

B-diggity, the building is a 60' and should fit a 50' boat on a gooseneck trailer.

Baywatch-- I totally agree -- If someone is looking for a 'cheaper to get into 41' Apache' this is definitely worth the look.
RHC-- it is definitely a side by side. Kelley's for Early Bird??

Keep em coming. A lot of our guys have the knowledge to deal with older gems like this. It keeps them alive. I love them.
I wish that I could save them all, like an old lady or Gino and kittens.
