I wish them luck- I hope they solved the Bren's "challenges"

The original Bren suffered from a number of failure issues. The base weapon was the CZ-75, which at the time was not imported into the US. Dornaus & Dixon took the 75 and made some basic functionality mods. They enlarged the magwell to accommodate the longer round. They made a few other basic changes. But in the end, the pistol never worked well and they were buried in expensed trying to solve the problems on guns they should have never sold until completely refining.

The Bren never did feed properly. They tried everything with magazines but it still never functioned reliably. And the 75 architecture just wasn't up to the strength requirements of the 10mm. There's a huge difference in power between the 9mm and the 10mm. The 10mm is almost identical in ballistics to the 357 magnum. Virtually everything chambered in 10mm suffers from frame failures- including the Colt Delta Elite.

Like I say, I hope they solve these challenges. But for what I'm guessing they'll get for this one, considering they're already talking about a max production of 1500 pieces, you could probably buy several nice shooters. And it's still not a Bren, so it's not going to ever have the history or value appreciation.
