Sunny isles beach bimini ocean race
    #1
Ok Our third year and I get it. No one except maybe for Bob Teague and All Jack-Up are going to pre-register for the ocean race. So please at least let us know if you are planning to run. After all its only the gulf stream!

Deep Impact is in and threw out a challenge to all the other CC's and not of them has Cowboy'd up. They are only typeing about how fast they are.

    Let me know!

Jeff Gerardi made the run in his 24 last year. There were other CC's in the "race".

It was a 30 Superboat. It has been calm the last three years. Last year there was ever section of glass.

Go for it Alec. If it blows even a little bit you could have an advantage.

    How far across is it?

Do you come right back or do you stay there?

Would be nice to support Brad .

It's an hour and a half ride at 70 mph. Out, around Bimini and back. No stops.

You don,t really go all the way around Bimini,,you go to about 3 or 4 miles in front of Bimini,,so the race is about 100 miles

I dont really care about winning anything but my boat wont keep up with the crowd so I'd need someone that knows where we are going is all.

Straight line out. Simple compass nav. With GPS it's even more of a no-brainer.

106 statue miles. Non stop. The turn is not at the concrete ship. Too many safety concerns with dive/snorkle boats. Easy run over back non stop great weather conditions. All kinds of class for different boats. Make your own record. Looks like we make have some diesels running this year.

    Hi Brad,

sorry about being late registering this year - will try to do as soon as possible (no printer or fax at home). No more All Jack'd Up - new boat with new name. I was just discussing the season with Henry, and we are both looking forward to the event!

No telling what the seas will be like. There were times we couldn't see anyone. Thank God we had a GPS.

I am glad I got to do it.
