For those that have been to shootouts, the LOTO shootout in my own experience, it amazes me to look back at the past speeds that took the Top Gun Award and see how much the bar has been raised. I realize those races were more of a drag race, but the new technology out there is a beautiful thing, not to mention the experience that does the set-ups and rigging as well as the balls to throttle and drive these awesome machines!!!

Congrats on the numbers, that's quite an achievement, but isn't Jet Set or the old Bacardi Silver (now pleasure boat) the two fastest? Both of those are over 200.

Bacardi silver did that with the canopy. I dont think its been near that fast since it was converted.

I've heard about big numbers from Jet Set, but never a video or reliable documenting.

Jet Set was in a Extreme Boats mag. article and they verifired it. There are very few videos of it on youtube but doesn't have to be on youtube to be real.

I went 188 in it when I owned it. Don't know how fast Lance had it up to.

How's Bill T's "My Way" fit into the mix of things (turbine powered). Both old (open) and new boats?

Bill T's 50 Outerlimits "My Way" went 197, with some more to go. Larry Goldman has the data log report from the run, but 193 in Gino's boat, open canopy and piston power is very impressive. Good job guys.
