These guys have some amazing stuff. They can apply it to metal, paint, plastic wood, etc. Off the hook, and way easier than painting.

Do you have experience with their stuff? I am looking to have some WTP done on my custom truck. My stuff is boxed and ready to go. I was about to send it here:

I love technology. That's great stuff.

A screenprint shop around the corner from me recently took delivery on an inkjet based system that sprays the ink on the textile. no more screens to clean.

It's the wonderful confluence of large format digital printing, cad/3D engineering, Disney and more.

    fascinating possibilities.

I have not used anyone yet. I have asked Hydro-Dip for a quote on an Ilmor intake plenum top. We'll see how fast they get back to me and what they say. Hydro-Dip appears to be a larger and more diversified outfit, serving volume applications and exotic applications.

    UPDATE:
They got back to me VERY fast. $300 to do the intake in any pattern. Another $300 gets custom airbrushed fire as well. This was completely from scratch to a finished job.

    Their response:
All fiber patterns as well as other prints have transparencies built into the film. The base coat of paint typically makes the background color in any pattern. The fibers come in both silver inks like the aqua fiber rifle or black inks like here http://www.hydrodipping.com/Carbon%20Fiber/slides/carb_31.html#picttop or silver ink over various color like here http://www.hydrodipping.com/Abstract-Custom/slides/ab_25.html#picttop We can spray any color base you want.

That charge is for a one-off intake to include bead blasting, prep, masking, paint, fiber dipping, candy coat, custom airbrush flame, and clear coating. You went right after the next level goodies!
