Mike A. is coming up today to go boating. At this point I do not see him enforcing the Super V Lite trademark, but is good to respect it. I will ask him today. I know he wants to to do a race this year so I bet he has no problem with it. SVL has 9 years of promotion including a significant first two years of GM promotion. There is brand equity not much at this point but still equity. Look at Supercat everyone still relates to that moniker.

I'm leaning more and more towards Super Vee Limited....

You get to leep the SVL everyone knows, and it truly is Limited to just one engine and a bravo type drive.

The reason they r looking to change the name is for P1, and then the class will not be limited to one engine and drive that will all change.

if you want it to align with the P1 series names, it needs to flow with their names.

    Evolution
    Supersport
    ?

They are all Vee classes so you really don't need to be redundant about that, keep it to one word for simplicity to match the theme already. I would go with something like 'Limited', 'Genesis' or something playing off the "entry" level or beginning part. I would keep it simple, no abbrevations, spell it correctly, no initials and make it easy to remember.

Or if the top class is "Evolution", maybe you guys would be the "Revolution".

So Doug are you going to come out and play this year? There are a few driver seats open, or just buy the WILDRIDE boat if there not going to race it.
