( still looking for a 502 block to build )
I bought my last one off of Craig's list. New gen 6, $950.

Just search All Craigs Lists and see what's out there.

    Hey guys,
Being this will be my first go with OPA I am not trying to make waves...when I used the term "Smitty Built" it reffered to he originally built it, not that theres any crazy black magic or anything devious about it, it was already in the boat so we left it ! (HP ???) Didnt care till now but will find out and post the dyno sheet. (transparency...learned that from Obama HA HA HA). Didnt mean to stir s*#t !
Our only intention this season is to have an awesome time and race as much as possible, and from what Ive been told OPA is the place to be...Mike
P.S. still not sure if its 5 or 6 yet.

    Thanks!

Class 6 is single engine and currently only class with any HP restriction. I would recommend you contact Smitty to get the lowdown.

I had a great view of both these boats all season long, unfortunately I was right behind them. Can't wait for this year to be running alongside-or ahead of them!

I also know that Tyler & George's old red boat is coming back with a pretty good big block. If there really is a 500hp limit someone should let Gary Cook know

Has Ben has a 454 with a worn out blower that does not even produce any boost we built that engine 2001. It should have been rebuilt 3 years ago what's keeping it together it must be his driving and throttling. He said after he wins a few races this year he will give me his prize money to freshen the engine.
