Maybe this has been beaten to death allready, I don't know. But would like a 502 Block to build for class 6 OPA boat. I am in Missouri.

01-21-2010 12:23 PMIt's a tough find. Sometimes you get lucky but most are gone as soon as they pop up. And with prices hovering around a grand for a used one, they're not cheap.
Cobra had some Dart blems a while back at a really good price. When you figure in that the Dart is a much stronger block and you know that it'll show up in as-described condition, that few hundred isn't that much of a hit.

Plus... remember that a merlin or dart block will be heavier than it's GM counterpart, and that extra weight is cast iron.
