I quit drinking...
at 5AM.
OOC- out of control...
The house I built/bought is in the middle of the little town I live in. Few bars in walking distance and many friends I can see from my deck. The like to stop by and drink all my booze; I join them. I need intervention- less than 4 hours since my last drink and feel like cracking a bottle of wine with my eggs.

11-01-2009 10:07 AMA doctor gave a long time friend of mine two options:
1) Quit drinking
2) Die
I asked him what did he decide.

I just checked my recycle bin. 4 liters of whisky this week. Somebody smuggled me a flask so I had a shot with mom after everybody left the funeral home Thursday.

She prepared me for it. She turned me on to the whiskey when I turned 21.
We all said goodbye when it was time to close the casket. My sisters said "Goodbye Mom."
I said: "Goodbye mom." "Goodbye teacher." "Goodbye buddy." "Goodbye mentor." "Goodbye peer." "Goodbye friend." "Goodbye wingman."Warning: This post may contain language unsuitable for minors or math not suitable for liberal-arts majors.
