It left about a year ago think and came second at cowes torquay cowes this year, a true offshore race.
Offshore Racing wasn´t designed to be a spectator sport, it's for people or companies with's lots of money to push the envelope of endurance technology and hopefully put a trophy on a mantle. It's man vs the elements, not like boats with like engines running in circles.

I saw that boat in Key West for sale about 2 years ago. I believe the price back then was $175k if I am remembering correctly? I have a spec sheet and ad from the guys selling the boat in my files, but I am not near it currently.

Please share! I believe this boat is one of the few Carbon/kevlar layups (5 or so total), besides that I don't have anything else to add...

It was for sale 2 years ago for 275 or 250, not 175. It only had 50 total hours on it 2 years ago.

Chris, Cigdaze , Catastrophe and myself met the former owner on a poker run in Ft. Myers two weeks ago. His name is Paul and he now had a badazz 40 Skater. Real nice guy that loved talking boats. I believe that he said that he lurks on here quite often. He said that his name here is PhatBoy.

Maybe he'll post on this one!

Thanks for the correction!! I still have not had a chance to check the ad, but thinking about it $275k would make more sense .

    Hi Steve,

You are right it was 275 at first then lowered to 250 and then lowered to 225 and then It was sold. Question is what final price was. They are def. asking more than they invested including shipping! Plus everything was new when they bought it.
