For SOME reason the wife is wanting one.
Anybody know any good or bad?

I know its a TOYota but sometimes its better to go along with them then NOT.
And what can I say after 2 NEW motors in the CIG!!!
    among several OTHER things.

    Thanks Quinlan

We sold the GF's a few months ago. It was an excellent vehicle. Lots of power, and would go anywhere. I lifted it 3" as soon as we got it. Had it for 40xxx miles and never had it in the shop. I really wish we would have kept it. The gas mileage wasn't great though, and Chris is right about the visibility.

The wife has a Avalon thats bumping 100k on miles,
and all it's costed us was normal servicing and a set of tires.

The way I see it, now that the Cig has new power, you're going to need
to save you pennys for the drive repair fund, so you better get her that car
and not have that to worry about that nickle, diming you

Plus, a happy wife is a good wife

We looked at those and the wife could not see out of it at all. She is scary enough on the roads with full visibility I don't want to think what would happen with her driving one of those.

We have an 08 jeep comander. Totally loaded.
It has just died on her Several times. I mean driving down the hi way. Loses all power till coast to stop and then it restarts fine. Been to shop several times they cant find problem.
The last straw was the other day going down the Hi way in rain and it happens.
She was damn near run over and said F k it.
So Jeeps (CHRYSLER) is out of the question.
I think we are leaning toward a 4 Runner but cant find ANY new ones.

Ignition switch, had the same exact thing happen on a honda, take the key off the keychain, and see if it happens with the single key in the ign. the swaying of the key chain makes it intermittent.

I looked at the FJ, great truck, but decided to keep my Z-71 and make payments on this instead

I have heard of this too. Especially if there are several keys and other trinkets on the key chain. The weight of the extra trinkets can cause the ignition switch to short out or something.

I just keep the ignition key and the remote on the key chain and nothing else.
