Anyone switched the 17's to 19.5's? Im wondering if you ruin any ride quality when this is done.
    Thanks

19.5's shouldn't be terrible but the 22's SUCK. I guy I met did it and even though it looks cool the ride was terrible.

19.5's look good but they are expensive to replace and don't get a lot of miles out of them, I ran them on some commercial units and did not like them

I ran the 19.5's on my 06 Ford swb dually and was totally happy with them, I tried the 22.5's and it made a miserable pos out of my truck. As far as mileage, I ran mine 15000 miles and the still looked like new, I would have to guess on a private use vehicle with any maintinance at all they would run 75 to 100000 miles, just don't skimp on tire quality, and dont run adapters. I used Michelin 265/70r19.5 xde+2's on Brentz custom predrilled wheels.

I ran Rickson 19.5's on a Ford with 265 Yokohama TY303's. Rode great and the tires lasted forever.

I actually started out ordering a set from Rickson but after being put off 3 different times(I found out later that they weren't doing their own aluminum wheels at the time and were farming them out, hence the problems getting a set) I started investigating other venues, and I bought a set of 22.5 Alcoa's with Michelin's and American Force adaptors and was miserable, I dumped that after 3 months of trying to get it right and that was when I found Brentz and they bailed me out in short order.

Anyone tried 19.5 Wide Singles on A Dually ?
Offshore Racing wasn´t designed to be a spectator sport, it's for people or companies with's lots of money to push the envelope of endurance technology and hopefully put a trophy on a mantle. It's man vs the elements, not like boats with like engines running in circles.

Your truck looks awesome! You should look into the Harley headlights from ford. It would finish it just right.

Thanks, I actually put Harley headlights in it after the picture was taken, I took everything off the truck before I traded it off, I like the new truck but its not the beast that the old one was, but my accountant told me I needed to trade for the incentives and the depriciation factor.
