sorry about your foot bro! ouch.
We left MC around 1pm, it was pretty snotty up until we got to east chicago or so, than it layed down. My throttle arm was gettin sore, but it was fun! Wasn't super rough, but i guess rough enough for the big geico cat to stuff and delaminate one of the sponsons, and break its engine hatch. I would say 3ft maybe 4 between EC and MC.

08-08-2011 06:28 PMI can't believe it got that rough out there. I had to get up at 3:00am to take a nephew to Ohare. We got home about 9:00 and the plan was to pick up the other nephews and head up to get the boat. The storm came in and I just took a nap. about noon untill 3:00 it was dead calm down here, just 40 miles south of the lake. I was kicking myself for no going up there.
What happened to your foot??

If I recall, Dan needed to head back out to boat for some grapes, well, since he is 8'4", he decided that he didn't need to put the ladder down. During his timing of the waves, he jumped up on the swim platform but after he hit the prop. He then sat there for a second, convincing himself that stiches weren't needed. But then, while chumming the water with blood, seeing the sharks roll in, the group decided its best to stitch him up. I volunteered to do it for him, but.... he chickened out. We pulled anchor and docked on the seawall, then Amy and I drove him to the hospital. From there it was down hill but we had a really good time.... or at least I did lol

Well, What can I say.. kidneys bring a lot of money but my stitching needs a bit of work.. hence the video. If you listen to our conversation... you would have thought we had been drinking, however, not a drop. Just goes to show how much of the party I really bring to the table lol...
