    Im wondering if anyone has heard any new info about the offshore Race around England ???? Is it still on?? Last I Read they were not going around
    Scotland like the Drambuie Round Britain race. Mike J.

    Offshore Racing wasn´t designed to be a spectator sport, it's for people or companies with's lots of money to push the envelope of endurance technology and hopefully put a trophy on a mantle. It's man vs the elements, not like boats with like engines running in circles.

    Long distance offshore racing is really on the up over here:

    Round Ireland Race - 2010
    Cowes - Torquay - Cowes and World Endurance Cup - 2010
    Round Britain - 2011 (as per 2008 event)
    Round Britian - 2012 (right round the top)

    A lot of teams getting ready and many new boats or old boats being bought. Would be great to see some US (and other countries) teams race over here.
