My port engine made a milk shake. The exhaust pressure tested ok. Pulled the intake manifold & found this in the lifter valley in the rear corner port corner. They're metallic, the 2 cricular pieces are rigid. I can bend the other pieces with very little pressure.
I'm stumped - anyone know what they are or where they came from???
Any & all help is greatly appreciated. thx.

Round pieces look like internal parts of a lifter. Was this engine repaired and not cleaned out properly by someone before you got it? If they are lifter parts, that lifter is no longer working, not opening a valve

08-05-2010 05:12 PMCompression check is good. Not part of a lifter. I pulled them all and they're good. The upper end appears intact. If I get time this weekend, I'll dig further into it & let you know what I find.
Thanks for the input.

Just tear it down, you got to anyway.
