I have a new Donzi ZXO. since the boat was new when I turn Silent Choice on the volts take a pretty large dive. The engines if at idle will even take a momentary hit in RPM until they correct themselves. I see a consistent .5-1 volt drop when Silent choice is engaged. I have tried it with the battery switches in various spots and it's always the same outcome.
Is this normal? it seems like quite a power draw to me.

02-25-2010 11:03 AMThe Corsa diverters have a rather heavy draw to open the butterfly. Once they are open the voltage drops considerably to maintain them open. It is the way they were designed.
