I just pulled my 509 and plan on rebuilding it over the winter. The reason it was pulled was due to low compression on #4. The motor has over 300 hours on it.
The motor is a Gen VI 502, bored 30, SRP 8:1 pistions, GM connecting rods & crank, mild roller cam, Merlin Rectangle Port Heads, Merlin Intake, 850 Holley, IMCO exhaust. Those are the essentials.
I want to build a 650-700hp N/A motor. Suggestions?

Stroke it to a 540+ CI, call RMbuilder and get a custom roller. You will need to have long risers or dry pipes for your Imco's. You will have to really spin it up to do NA, maybe shoot for 580 HP @ 5400.
