Sharkey-Images will cover the Harrison Twp, MI OPA Offshore Race, Sunsation Owner's Rally & the Festival of Lights events this weekend.
After hearing of no professional photography coverage for this race, I felt the need to come out to support the Harrison Twp event. These guys have been busting their butts for some time now to make this a great event. I could not let it go off without it being covered.
See everyone there soon !

Perhaps had I known before making the investment I could have stayed home.
I already made the commitment with the understanding the race was at a loss for Professional coverage.
Good to hear they will have a bit more. These guys deserve it after all they have been through to put this race on...
Too late for me to turn back now. I stated I was coming to support them and I am a man of my word...
I leave tomorrow once my truck is ready.

Great to see you Dave !
Images went on display after the awards at the River Rat Restaurant . I got some good feed back.
Unfortunately I missed the only 2 incidents of the day. Can't always be in the right place at the right time.
I am not sure when I will have a good enough connection to get them online. I will start on them as soon as I can. Where I am staying tonight I think will have a decent one. Right Marc ?
I have a busy week ahead me. I will be taking many factory tours of the plants out here. I should have some really cool stuff to come home with.
I want to thank everyone for the support they have showed . It was not an easy decision to be able to make this trip or not.
Business wise, it just may have been the right decision and I was happy to be there to document the entire race for Dean, Rick and the rest of the entire crew involved with putting on the event.
Now I am off to work.
I'll update as soon as I can.
Thanks !
