So, we have gotten less than an inch of snow this winter in the area that I live. I just got back from Florida, I ordered all of my spring tune-up stuff for the boat (caps, rotors, plugs, plug wires, etc..) and removed my swim platform for the powdercoat guy to re-do it. Generally, I'm thinkin that we made it. Yippeeee!!
I woke up this morning to see a dusting of snow on the ground but It's not snowing. So I turn on the TV and they're calling for 6-12 inches later today/tonight!!!!!!! Forget the grocery store, I've got to go get some beer and gas for the gator!!!!

It was 85 on Friday so I took two (topless) girls to the lake. That night a cold front blew in and the high on Saturday barely made it to 60. At 8:00 this morning it's 32 degrees outside! Where's that Global Warming I'm hearing so much about?
If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck!

Like they say, "It ain't over till it's over." Just a couple of years ago, I remember we had a blizzard w/about 4-5" of snow on April 1st, which is odd--even in Ohio.

30 degrees even yesterday dropping the motor back in the boat.
It's usually at least mid 40's low 50's by now around here.
low 20's when I ran to Home Depot this morning.
I'm ready for the desert."Keep the bottle on the bar Ira, I won't be long".

03-01-2009 10:59 AMWe had a snowstorm hit on May 5th many years ago. I can't remember how many inches we received, but I know it was definitely more then a couple inches.

Here at LOTO we've haven't been hit too hard this winter, but yesterday 2-4 turned into at least 6. Tiki Bar last weekend now the snow shovel.
On a positive note the annual polar bear plunge was held at LOTO and raised over $100k for the Special Olympics!Warning: There will be no warning shots.

Rob, the same is true in Texas. Like Clay said it was beautiful on Friday, near record high. Then those damn Canadian air masses blow in. I hope this one is the last for the year.
Craig, you will likely get a few more cold smacks. They seem to happen later and later. I remember when you could count on April being nice. Seems you can't count on all of May being nice anymore.
I hope this year is a good one for you and all my MD buddies
