04-30-2012 11:51 AMGlad to hear everyone is ok. But it's a matter of time in those ill handling jobbies, they ride on the nose, spin out constantly, go slow ( thank god ), and I know those that use em will say they r fun, but thats only till they spin in front of someone else and get t boned and hurt, or worse. Or pitched out and hurt, or worse. I am all for something cool and affordable like the idea there. But those are not the thing in my opinion.

04-30-2012 12:23 PMThey spun out the day before in the boat. This time it went over.
My opinion at this point is the props have too much stern lift, but I am not sure. Last year the boats ran the entire season with zero rollovers, this year three now. When I chatted with the boys, and Gene who was directly behind them, they all said t happened really weird. The boat went up on one side, then hit another boats wake and went up on the other side. The twins said they actually had time to wonder if it was going to go over or not, and then it did.
But, either the teams are pushing a lot harder with the added experience of how to get more speed by running more on the edge, or something changed between last year and this year.Getting bad advice is unfortunate, taking bad advice is a Serious matter!!

04-30-2012 12:26 PMAs for the course, all of the other boats ran the same tight corners on that end of the course, left then right, except for the west end course change back, and there were no major issues.

04-30-2012 02:54 PM"Pushing Harder" ? what the, if your racing your pushing hardest, thats what racing is other wise it is boating. The boats handle like crap, I have never been in one but can tell by photos alone that they are ridin on the front step waitin to spin around. My question is why didn't someone along the way in the design of these boats, Go Hmm, they sure ride on the nose and are prone to spinning out, maybe we should do something a bit different.? Before they built a bunch of them. I guess, what the hell do I know, apparently people are buying them???? My money is going into a safer, albeit differnt type of hull. J

04-30-2012 04:08 PMThe best part is they are running on lakes and rivers, what would happen if you put them in any kind of water ....hmmmmm hold on...
What is also dangerous is they are going so slow you have to wonder if they will though you far enough from the boat or will u stay with it and the boat ends up on top of you. If you watch the Video from St Cloud there are a lot of times it looked like they were going over ....more then less.

04-30-2012 06:12 PMWOW !! what a video. You guys really need to think about these things. I know it is someones great marketing idea to get those all the same boats with sponsor names on it etc.etc. The Sponsor Whoz name is on the side of the one that kills a couple guys will not be real good for business, theirs or yours. YIKES. Im gonna get home to my kids.

04-30-2012 08:40 PMAll that statement proves is that you do not know what you are talking about. As I am one of the nicest guys you will ever meet, and probably have met. All my previous statements stand, and are also, just that, my opinions. I do know a little about boats, every now and then, and history is sure a great learning tool.
