Are you guys crazy it's suposed to be 4 degrees here this weekend. I got a surveyer checking out the Cat wed. to see if it is what it's suposed to be. Then store it down there if I buy it untill I figure out what I'm doing with it. Last thing I need is another boat in my drive right now. I'm thinking now Arneson #6's and just stab my engines in it like they are and go with that untill I need a rebuild on my engines and get use to it. Arneson 6's can be found purdy cheap. With my engines it should run 105-110 don't you think? The guy told me it ran 126 with 600hp per side but that sounds like a sales pitch to me. I found a new older arneson 8-10 for $8500.00 but would have to find another and also counter rotate one engine and really don't want to do that.

What about some 4's or 5's, trannys and your engines. Sounds pretty simple. I am all for putting it together with what you have, see if you like the boat, then throw some more beans at it.

I have looked into 5's seems like 8-12K each on those depending if you want to work on them before you run them or just put them on. And 6's are like what I paid for my house. I sure like the looks of 5's with a big fat tie bar. Well no big hurry. I'll find something.

I will pick up some stuff today or tomorrow. Funny that you are working in an office, and I am working from an old train car.
