05-12-2013 04:16 PMThanks Ratickle ! We do our best ,yesterday we fired both engines up on the hose , to find out if there are any gremlins showing up ,the engines were running fine ,both ZF gearboxes were shifting fine ,I could not let them shift 1 th gear because that wiring is not finished (gearbox is in 2 th gear when no 12 volt is supplied ),i ,m going to do this next week and hoefully next weekend fire them up to see if the gear shifting works ok.
Seems first sea trial is in sight

05-14-2013 07:22 AMYou need to finish this and get numbers with the power and boxes. We're all really curious about what they will be.

05-18-2013 03:59 PMYou ,re right ,I,am going to finish this project first , today I did some work in the dash ,most wiring is done ,but I had 1 rpm gauge not working ,and found a loose wire at the hall sensor in the flywheel housing .
Now rpm gauge works fine , all connectors at 2 speed module are connected ,and when switching 12 volt is applied now ,so next time on the hose I hope to find out if switching between gears works as it should .

05-26-2013 01:08 PMBad luck ... I found both transmissions are leaking oil throught the seal on the outputshaft mm I looked under the trannies with a mirror and flashlight to see if they were leaking somewhere else ,but it was all dry ,exept the seal on the outputshaft ,so I took one seal out ,and ordered 2 new ones ,the seal that came out didn,t look bad at all ,the surface from the flange outputshaft is made from stainless steel and look new ,it could however leak between the housing of the tranny and the seal ... I,m going to put the new ones in with 574 loctite on the outside where it sits in the tranny housing ,and use molycoat inside the seal for first lubrication ,hopefully no more leaks.

06-02-2013 06:00 AMThanks Ratickle ,No need to call for help,as it was pretty easy fix ,the new seal is in the port transmission ,and filled up with oil ,and so far no leaking ,gonna check tomorrow ,and next saturday when we are going to run on the hose again to see if the trannies shifting in first and second gear ,I will watch those seals closely ..
Did a lot of work in the wet room ,toilet ,all hoses ,water pick up ,hoses to holding tank ,holding tank out ,etc almost finished with that ,wiring to electrical toilet motor ,etc , not the kind of work that is in sight ,but it takes a lot of time .
Also did the lanyard switches ,they needed a timing relay installed on both ,because of the selenoid keeps on pulling the cut out lever on the diesel pump ,and burns itself after some time ,now I set the relay at 8 seconds timer ,so the power is been cut off .

06-20-2013 11:29 AMIts coming along slowly ,I,m busy with the shower and all the hoses , had to buy a pump unit ,to collect all the water from the shower ,so it can be pumped out overboard ,since the drain is so low I had to pump it up aprox 1 feet to dump that water through a thru hull .
snap in carpet is ready ,also the carpet in front is cut and ready to go in .
I will try to post pics soon .
