Mornin!
Watched 3 different Videos on replacing the Power Steering Pump on the Astro...None of Them showed the actual removal, or installation..
They just skipped to the end...after wasting time talking about the freaking Hoses...Some of these People need an Ass Whipping.

02-05-2021 09:37 AMThat too funny. I just finished replacing the pump on my GMC. Couldn’t believe how much chit I had to take off just to gain access. BTW, I have the puller and installation tools for the pulley if you need them. You do know the pulley has to be removed to get pump off of bracket.

Yes, I got that off with a bit of a struggle (puller was a tad large) I put a Hose Clamp around it , and it worked fine...Problem now is, the Pump doesn't want to come out,
I've moved it about 5" down and over...but it is hanging on something...
I'm waiting for the Sun to clear the Trees so That it will be warm before I go down and Work on it.Parabellum FJ²B

Mornin !
What's shocking is that I can buy a low Miles 2012 BMW AWD SUV cheaper than a 2000's low Mile AWD Astro/Safari...by about $2K...
I needed a Vise to pull the Reservoir off of the old Pump...I came up with this instead
Charlie swung by and dropped off a Power Steering Pump Pulley Replacer and saved the Day...I still have to put all the Shrouds of Touring back onParabellum FJ²B
