Are you saying that if they are solid, they are stranded?

05-28-2014 11:13 PMI mean solid as in well grounded. Grounds in boats always seem to be the number one area of issues and he has his buss blocks separately grounded back to the battery grounds. Stranded wire is always best.

Busy day today... Got the console mounted, throttle/****er mounted, last to cup holders wired and mounted, couple step plates mounted, head up trim indicators mounted under the dash, neutral safety switch wired up, sent the seat bases out to be modified ( upon drilling the access port to thru bolt the seat I found that the inside bolt holes would be to close to the stringers, so I am having a 3" strip of stainless welded in to move the mounting holes), fabbed the cable mounts for the tab cylinders and whipped up some stainless brackets to mount the cable ends to the tabs. Also ordered a shift cable adjustment tool and my 5 watt handheld vhf showed up today.

Got my butt kicked by a 1/4 hole today. Fabbed up the tab mounts for the mech., indicators. First 3 holes in the stainless tabs took 45 minutes, the last hole took me 3 hours. gonna get the correct size bolts etc saturday.

Not unless I can find a 5/8- 20 nut. Somewhere along the rebuild and shop move I lost the nut for the steering wheel. Tried menards, home depot and lowes, any ideas??

Yeah, that's a pretty fine thread for 5/8.
Fleeger's would have probably had one. But they went out of business.
Maybe Ondrus, but they are closed Sundays.
This is when I miss real hardware stores.
