Amazing how the advance of technology and the rigidity of the Epoxy how fewer stringers are needed in the lay-up compared to vinyl/poly!

better core materials and carbon mainly, the epoxy helps.

I'm really enjoying this. But your bulkheads are a little tall....

COuple questions. You don't have to answer if top secret.....

Is the engine hatch capable of being walked on? Can you share the layup schedule and weight/size by any chance?
Getting bad advice is unfortunate, taking bad advice is a Serious matter!!

The bulkheads will be trimmed, you can walk on the engine hatch, and the layup schedule and weight can not be divuldged at this time.

This boat is coming together fast, although it looks like a bunch of parts and pieces, they will all be mated to form a bad azz ride!!!

They saved roughly 1000 lbs on my buddy's 51' OL removing one of the stringers cause it wasn't needed any longer. He doesn't have a carbon boat. I'm sure you knew that already.

Like I said, the epoxy helps. As far as your friends boat, sounds like it never needed that stringer anyway.

Some carbon/foam/epoxy boats don't even have stringers.
