04-01-2012 09:57 AMAs some of you know, our dear friend DR. Simmons has been rebuilding his boat!!
I am for the first time in my life not exagerating in the least. The good DR. has taken his boat completely apart. No transmon, no floor, no cockpit, no ballast tank and no bulk heads. The following photos were from the 28th. The surgeon now has put in the transom, floor and has about a week's worth of glass work to do. He and his staff are eatin resin for their 3 square meals.
Enjoy!!

04-01-2012 06:43 PMI feel guilty looking at Jim's boat pics. I thought I was doing a big job cleaning my babby up! It makes me laugh when I here people say they are trying to get there boats ready for Biloxi and then I see Jims boat and I know he has lesss time to do it in and I know he will be there. Jim you are my hero!!!! Your dedication speaks volumes of why you won the Randy L. light house award last year.

Here is a shot of "TUGINIT" from earlier today. Polish and George over at Absolute Signs and Neon did an awesome job on the design and layout for this thing! Sponsors will start goin on tommorrow, and "TUG IT" will be gettin similar treatment next week. Boat is getting rigged over at Art Lilly's rite now, and should be ready to go minus a set of headers by Mon!!
