1919 The U.S. Navy Subchaser SC 203 found the wreckage of the Spanish passenger liner Valbanera on Half Moon Shoals. The liner had last been sighted on Sept. 9, when it was turned away from Havana Harbor because of hurricane winds. They have an airspeed limit. Under 10,000ft its max of 250knots, forget what it is above but supersonic is not allowed in American airspace. I was on the Concorde once and we had to wait until international airspace to break the sound barrier.

1931 Capt. Eddie Sanders of the shark fishing boat Holland brought in 36 sharks for the Ocean Leather Co. The catch, made with a 300-foot net, was mostly nurse sharks.
