With Docs Family Background I do not have any thought of the boat getting beat up or rundown.
I think racing if for fun is a great idea and will improve the boats pedigree.
If not doing it it would be forever MMīs boat or justanother hayhauler.
Regarding smack talk and nonexisting communication skills It seems thereīs always some people writing checks bigger than one can handle and those doesnīt belong to serious.
Happy Christmas..
And NO I do not need a reply.
Thank you.

Offshore Racing wasnīt designed to be a spectator sport, it's for people or companies with's lots of money to push the envelope of endurance technology and hopefully put a trophy on a mantle. It's man vs the elements, not like boats with like engines running in circles.

12-25-2009 08:47 AMWow, we can't have boring.......
Merry Christmas, sweet boat.
And I agree the heritage of the boat will be enhanced. But, I also agree racing is hard on a boat. But, Doc's reputation is pristine so I think it's a perfect match. Can't wait to see it out there on the course.Getting bad advice is unfortunate, taking bad advice is a Serious matter!!

The lengths of the courses you race even a lightweight Apache will eat up and spit out.
Plus Doc has a slew of old school Racers backing him up not just one equal to Mel Riggs etc but Several!
RACING is hard on a boat yes I Agree on that
Itīs not fun to glass together brand new boats every time they have been out but hey thatīs RACING and the level of Competition.Offshore Racing wasnīt designed to be a spectator sport, it's for people or companies with's lots of money to push the envelope of endurance technology and hopefully put a trophy on a mantle. Thanks for everyones support. What do we need to do to get more boats involved next year. I will be running in a class that typically has one of the least attended participants. Class 3 is perfect for this boat.

Schultzy, Billy Jr. is Family, break his ball$ and I'll have you killed! He, He, He! Bottom line, if you don't wanna break the boat a little, leave it on the trailer! Now Doc, CONGRATS and bring that Big Bitc$ out! She's beautiful.
