Mine had it as well kids...I just had it removed when the trailer place rewired the truck for the flat-four. Dude said the wiring for the 7 was all rotted out...I didn't need it...so I said "pull it." I got that hitch cuz BZ told me to...same one he's got.

Tony, 180 miles! we're just gettin the seat warm. These young kids can't handle it. I'll bet they expect to sleep all night too. Leave it to the old farts to get the job done.

Hey not all of us kids are candy asses! I do about 250 miles a day in the rig, but its all thru the city traffic...Damn 4 wheelers in the way all day! Not sure if I would be able to do it in some of those dinosaurs you and Tony drove back in the day....talk about a rough ride!

Mike, if you didnt wanna flip the dough for a brake controller, We can prob pull mine out and stick it in yours. They just plug into a socket under the dash...no splicing. Assuming your 99 is the same as my 04. Then again, not sure what big D is gonna have to do considering they ripped your factory stuff out

Your hitch reciever is a true class V. Not the crap they install on from ford. When i get my old school dually thats whats goin on it.

Im going to pick up a new design tomorrow,,,,, hoping they have a plug in harness for him as well.

Gonna swap out BZ's next year to,,,, huge difference in control with his controller, and the new one I just put in my dually.

Downside is it looks like he needs to be rewired to the back of the truck !!!!
