Here is a pic of mine. I picked it up on memorial day 2011. It was gutted and in pretty rough shape. The last pic is pretty much the first run on Labor Day weekend, put on about 150 miles, ran pretty good.

Torrent, I saw your post regarding drives on the other site. I would take a look at the bmax's with shorties. John P on the board owns the bravo shop, he's great to deal with. We'll be running his oil in our #6's next summer!

Thanks guys. Your compliments are much appreciated. The motors that are in it are from my old boat that has a rotted everything. So I figured I'd use as much from it as possible. The last ride of the season the starboard engine ate a rod bearing. So back to the drawing board.

Thanks for info. I will have to give him a shout. Is it typical for the propshaft centerline to be around 6 inches from the bottom of the boat on these boats?

I just hate those engines that eat rod bearings. Maybe you should have fed him something and he wouldnt have got hungry.....

Around there maybe a touch more. I run chillers as well. Running 26 bravos. The day I went to try the 28's is when I noticed an engine got hungry! So who knows if I would of gained or not.

Yeah you guys are right. And to think that I was harassing him about staggering the engines off the bat! (that does show the confidence I have in his ability though) The boat does look amazing and will be even more amzing once the new engines are in!

I am pretty sure that I have a pic of my son sitting on the hatch of that boat when he was about 1 year old or less.
We were staying in Ludington and (I think) that BT pulled in.
Owner was a great guy and awfull friendly.
Again, I think, it had a one piece full hatch at that time with the BT logo. I will have to look at home and see if I am not mixing anything up too bad...
But if it is the same boat, the same owner had it up at Hardy Dam for Hot Boat the year prior to us meeting him and popped a motor up there.
    Congrats on the fixing up!!
My wife was REALLY impressed with that. It was the first BT I had ever stepped in. VERY impressive ! ! !
    Congrats ! ! !

Who mad the hatch covers? Mine are wearing on the corners and would like to replace them. Also, I thought they may make a good Xmas present for Saxman .....
