Well, first of all, you will be running the S.O.S. Nor-tech with a crew full of board members and our Nor-tech brother from Canada, Vic.
We had a couple boats pull out. But Kenny in the Disturbing Behaviour Nor-tech is running with another CDN NT brother Erik and Robby Hamilton crewing.
Larry the Canadian Guy will be running his 36 Nor-tech.
Sam and Joy will be in their 42 700 Fountain.
My brother and I have to deliver a 36 NT 700 boat on Friday to its new owner, a dentist from Toronto who will be joining our poker run clan on Saturday.
If all goes well, on Friday we will be delivering another 36 NT that I sold recently. But the timeline is a little short for this weekend.
To complete the Canadian connection, I understand the expat GLH will be attending. I understand he fled Canada years ago because of universal healthcare. So he may be in a foul mood this weekend.
Chuck is bringing his NT down from NY too.
The Nor-tech factory support team will be there as always. Keith from Nor-tech wants a case of Molson Golden by the way.
STATEMENT is also attending.
I am sure there are many others coming. Should be fun.Double R Performance

How's the boating scene in Tahiti???
We will address this like every other tax laws... give us the rulebook and the CPA's and Tax Lawyers will find a legal way around it... As usual
Hopefully the senate will trash the bill up nice.... Enough of that crap this is suppose to be fun!

We'll see if this stands...
"Saturday
Northwest winds 5 to 10 knots. Seas 2 feet or less. Bay and inland waters a light chop. "

The launch closest to Tarpon Point is the Cape Coral Yacht Club. There is also parking for trailers, rigs, etc.
The park is located at the end of Coronado Pkwy.Nor-Tech Hi-Performance Boats

So how many people are going ? It doesnt seem like theres a lot of hype for this run. I hear that there really isn't any night life and that this is more like a hubby and wifey run ? Last yr was St. Pete and it was a blast the yr before was Sarasota also a blast.

Cape Coral does not have the party atmosphere of St. Pete or Downtown Sarasota.
Although, there are some interesting places across the river in Ft. Myers.
However it's a great place to boat and no worries of 100' seas in Tampa Bay.
There's always an inside route with no speed zones if the Gulf gets nasty.
On top of that the new venue at Tarpon Point is a beautiful location with a very nice marina.Nor-Tech Hi-Performance Boats
