Pulled the broke XR lower apart. The vertical shaft broke between the gear and the needle bearing. Gears still look fine. I thought the upper was the weakest link on a heavy BT. Lost the drive 80 miles down river at the Helena King Biscuit Blues Festival on the river. Had to call for the trailer.
