D,
I'm pretty sure JnT boats up there.
So are you down here now? I was at a bar in Marietta Friday night... Not as young as I think I am some times. The 5 am deal killed me.

RR,
We are here!!! I am actually alot closer to Woodstock/Cherokee County than Marietta. I am going to try my luck on Allatoona today. My first trip out since the motor was put in. We will have to meet up sometime!!!

Been to most of those tracks........Have fun!!!!
As far as the lake goes, it was "OK"!! We ran around for a little while checking it out. Not used to dealing with thousands of tubers and jet ski's!!!!! Found a couple of the hang out coves. Too much traffic for any speed runs!!!!!!!

Sent you a PM DKerns
I agree on the traffic. Seems like people enjoy pulling tubes through the narrowest places on the lake. Don't even get me started on the jet skis...
Once school starts it will get better and we boated into November last year. Fall is the best in my opinion. We mostly run a pontoon and hang out down toward Allatoona pass in a cove they call "Flamingo". Occasionally we run the Apache up to Illinois Creek which is the hot spot.
Call me sometime.

Lake Lanier should be full by the end of the week. I have never seen rain like this! 10 inches in a day!

Saw this online, sound terrible
A two-year-old Georgia boy swept from his father's arms Monday was among six people killed by storms pounding the Southeast, and more rain was expected after the historic dumping that also forced drivers to scramble onto the roofs of cars on Atlanta's main artery.
