Almost time to get out of storage and fire this thing up again, finally, what a long crappy winter, my wife thinks we need a ladder on the Lightning to get on from in the water,is there a nice one made for my boat.

Getting bad advice is unfortunate, taking bad advice is a Serious matter!!

I agree on the tie-bar, I may have to throw her in a few times to get some practice, but in case I need one is there something for a Fountain that is correct & looks nice.

I believe Dan always used the tie bar, just be real careful of those blades hang'n just below
The only ladder I have seen will bolt on under the swim deck or on top of it.

great boat.....I wouldnt have minded it......you dont need a ladder....put the drives ALL the way down......string a rope across the transom from the two aft cleats (I have a special rope I made up).....swim up.....put one foot on the tie bar....grab the rope and easily pull yourself up....try it twice and its second nature after that....Anyone can do it....all ages.....in the pic Susi is standing on the tie bar...

this looks easy enough, i'll go back to my original plan, throw her in 3 times for practice, she is tall & long legged anyway, should be able to step on easily.
thanks.

Thanks for info. on using the rope tied between the cleats, it works great, really no good place for a ladder anyway, while it was raining everyday in May, I tuned the engines, adjusted the carbs., she is running really sweet now.
