Funny you say that. The reason I still have my boat is we decided to put a pool in. Going to go write a check for it this weekend. It will be nice though for those weekends where the weather is iffy and don't want to take the boat out and get rained on.

Let me guess she wants you to get a pool or some new carpeting? Welcome to the club!

A pool... hmm... that sounds like an investment... unlike the boat... thats just plain bad money handling lol... how big of a pool are you going with?

You can have our pool. We never use the thing...I think it barely got above 75 degrees last summer and I HATE cold water. Especially when there's a hot tub sitting next to it.

Andy is the winner. My oil psi was too low when Dave first fired it up on the dyno, so he switched out to bigger lines. For some reason, the bung on my cooler was a wierd size that wouldn't work with the bigger lines, so...new ones. Dave checked my fuel pumps and found that the seals were shot.

The question is will a lake with a maximum of 3/4 mile length be enough to accurately test props on a 32' vee? Anyone have speed guesses?

I agree, watever it does on Pine you can probably add a couple MPH on the big lake in perfect conditions. Radar shows some nasty stuff coming so it looks like the testing might have to wait for another day.

Business end starting to come together...New paint on drives, tabs, gimbals, new steering lines being made this week, and some other little odds and ends. Transom was chalky as heck, drives were pitted and corroded pretty good, along with tabs. Still have to polish out the tie bar, wing plates, exhaust, and some other detailing...
