01-13-2010 01:38 AMCabin (exists on pleasure not on race), Cockpit race is 3 or 6 man stand up (Pleasure is 2 bolsters and a rear bench, although there is a standup boat or two out there with a cabin), Motors are Full Stagger on race setup (pleasure is side by side or half stagger), Race Hatches!! (my favorite) aren't on pleasure. There are other's but these are the big ones. WMF even if you know, I figured it should have been posted at some point in this massive thread.

Full race setups will have an 8' hatch, and differnt life lines up the bow. The life lines have more surport at the anchor points on the deck. Also the full race setup's will have the big K planes the C 600 dual ram tabs.

01-13-2010 01:31 PMSo I was digging thru the box trying to find more old Apache photo's and came across an old picture of me on my fathers boat at age 2+/-. First pic is me at 2 yrs old, 2nd is my daughter at 2 on the Apache.
I was on the phone with a friend looking at them and he said; "What's the difference between the two?" I said, I dunno, hair color? He said, no, the lifejacket!!! I guess our parents were less worrysome in the 70's/80's.
Can't make this stuff up!
