Does anyone have recommendations on books about people in offshore from say the 70's, 80's, and 90's? I have a couple on Don Aronow (speed Kills and Blue thunder) and would like some more based on his life.
Thanks
Scott

If you can borrow one, read it. Not sure it's worth the asking price to buy. It is good though.

Holy CRAP!! $939????
I bought a copy a few years ago new off Amazon for around $50.
I remember seeing one on E-bay used asking $600 about 2 years ago.
I'm just going to hold on to mine for awhile, before long it could be worth as much as my boat..."Keep the bottle on the bar Ira, I won't be long".

Let us know if you do get it and then I might just go and get it. I've looked around and asked bookstore and it seems they all say the same thing that the book is no longer in print and it cost to me a lot of money so I haven't bought one yet.

I was thinking the same thing - I'll order 3 of them, and could stand to make at least $1500.
It's a great book, and the pictures are awesome.
I just don't see it going for almost a grand (no offense to Michael, and I'm glad to have my own copy)."Keep the bottle on the bar Ira, I won't be long".

Well, I recieved this Email this morning;
I apologize for the inconvenience, but we are currently out of stock on this particular title. I can contact you when we are expecting a new shipment. At this time, I have no further information as to when we are expecting the new books. Your credit card will not be charged.
If you can get your hands on this book at a reasonable price that is I highly recomend it.I THINK, THEREFORE I DRINK!
