Heidi spent the day on the water with twin A. I took over at 5 and ran back out to sea with Heidi. Great night again. Dang, two days in a row. I feel guilty.

It was back in the driveway of the original owner last night.

I went out to lunch today. With another human being.
The only mask I saw was the waitress, but it was at the country club.
I called a bunch of donors and colleagues and said "I need to learn how to have lunch again, do you need any practice?" and every single one was like "Phuck yes, I didn't want to be the first one to start. But I'm IN."
I went from "oh ****" at the beginning (I am a health care VP don't hate me. They got me when they cancelled the electives. Nobody does that.) to "wolf, wolf." I'm ready to start drinking everybody else's beer like normal. (I have this thing where I assume all beers belong me.) Makes a hale and hearty fellow. Well... that and ten years in the rock band.

I was bored so I looked at everybody's "likes" received and given. I thought I had a lot of likes received. And I do. Apparently the most. But then I realized that mathematically speaking, they almost all had to come from bobcat. Which is why I don't understand why he didn't get more from the "TGIF" joke, which I thought was one of my better ones.
In "Oh yeah, I have a boat" news.... got the rest of the cockpit back in the boat over the weekend. Got the bolsters in last night. Now I have cosmetic touch up to lowers, new O rings, pressure test each one for 24 hours, fill em up... put the props on and drain plug. I am waiting for vinyl screw caps to come and I will make two small upholstered panels for the lowest part of the forward wall of the cockpit liner that used to have loncoin running up it.
Let me recall.... removed cockpit: bolsters, side panels, rear bench. Removed intercom system. Removed floor. Removed power. Removed tank. Replaced stringers forward and aft of engine bay bulkhead and replaced bulkhead below deck. Painted bilge. Installed new floor on new stringers, blending with liner, eliminating hatches underfoot. Glassed new floor. Carpeted new floor. Reinstalled cockpit. New tank inspection hatches. Reinstalled intercom system. Replaced all rubber of any kind on both engines. Replaced engine harnesses. Replaced drive trim indicator cables. New sending units. New kill switches. Fabricated new mounts for new stringers and realigned power. I am leaving a lot of small stuff out. But let's just say I finally finished that restoration I started 12 years ago. I did the cockpit and drives, and shop did the rest. I would be done by now but the boat was stuck over the Michigan line for a while.
