It is traditionally appropriate to wish others "Merry Christmas" beginning on December 8, the feast of the Immaculate Conception.

Anybody get anything good for Christmas? I bought myself two new stringers, a new engine mount bracket, new trim indicator cables, new hoses and belts, new electrical harnesses and will be sending a prop to Brett.
Daughter gave me a bottle of Traverse City Whiskey Co cherry infused bourbon. Not sure I like infused liquor straight, but it's good in coke.

Heidi got a ice maker and three of my nieces announced they are all pregnant. Great Family Christmas last night.

You know Dasher and Dancer
And Prancer and Vixen
Comet and Cupid
And Donner and Blitzen?
Well they all got fired because someone posted on facebook that they committed specific hate crimes against Rudolph beginning prior to 1949, but first documented by Gene Autry in 1949. They all also lost their summer jobs in Finland. The hate crimes included laughing at Rudolph for a deformity, but also exclusion from various games that, as a reindeer, Rudolph would have typically had access to. Stripped of their "Reindeer" status, they should now be referred to as "Caribou."
When contacted for a statement, the 8 tiny Caribou, through their attorney, had no comment.Last edited by fund razor; 12-25-2019 at 10:01 AM.

Starboard side next to tank cell and starboard side in the engine room. They didn't fail, and a really good surveyor said they never would. But the soundings sucked and the moisture meter sucked. I always had a feeling since I replaced the tank that there would be issues. The tank leaked to the SB side and aft. I decided to pull the cockpit and have a buddy check them all and replace any that are suspect. Then I don't have to worry about it later, whether I keep it or sell it. Port was solid. SB was sketchy so we pulled the power on SB and will re-align the engine on the new bracket. Stringers are done and painted.
This is the end of the issues related to the tank failure. New stringers, glass, bulkheads, tank, tank cell and foam. All the old is gone. Now I will finally do the floor.
My buddy actually had another 28 Apache in his shop for stringers, so he made me a deal to do mine as well over the winter.
