12-08-2017 07:02 AMOf course it will. The real question is, can 3 separate orgs survive promoting Offshore Racing?
My short answer, no way. Something has to give. There are not enough boats.Getting bad advice is unfortunate, taking bad advice is a Serious matter!!

12-09-2017 08:18 AMBut, if the 3 orgs really cared, they would all work together, standardize the rules, and have a points system like Offshore used to have for the separate regions and hold a joint World Championship race under the unified rules.
Maybe then the sport would grow again........Getting bad advice is unfortunate, taking bad advice is a Serious matter!!

12-11-2017 12:39 AMYeah, I know.
You would think, as they lose more and more venues, they would try to fix the root-cause of the problem.Getting bad advice is unfortunate, taking bad advice is a Serious matter!!

12-12-2017 12:35 AMHopefully, with another player in the game, a consensus will put the classes, and other rules, identical.
If that ever happens, and the rules are actually enforced instead of letting cheaters off the hook for money or other considerations, you will see the sport grow.
If that does not happen, you will see the sport continue to shrink........Getting bad advice is unfortunate, taking bad advice is a Serious matter!!

12-15-2017 01:29 AMIt is interesting that SBI and RWO both show a race in the Mentor area of Ohio in their plans on the same weekend. The map on the RWO site is the same area of Mentor as SBI's. Just east of the river mouth instead of west of the river mouth.
"SBI lists its July 20 Mentor, Ohio, contest as “Race Pending,” while RWO has a July 19-20 event set for the “Greater Cleveland area.”Getting bad advice is unfortunate, taking bad advice is a Serious matter!!
