06-29-2016 09:38 AMA Holley HP EFI base tune appropriate for a 2006 425hp Mercruiser 496 HO base engine (GM Gen7 Vortec 8.1L) with upgrades to produce 520ci 650hp naturally aspirated with wet exhaust. I have the Holley 550-602 that will utilize the Mercruiser sensors so appropriate cals for those. The cast iron Gen7 Vortec heads have fast burn combustion chambers vs the 502 so spark table will need to be appropriately less. Nothing for this base engine in the Holley library.

06-30-2016 08:37 AMHave you asked here? http://forums.holley.com/forumdisplay.php?49-HP-EFI
When I read about the 550-602, it appears it is built for the LS1 crank sensor? Is that what the 496 Merc uses?
If you can't find out for sure, let us know and I'll call a couple engine builder/tuners I know to see if they know.Getting bad advice is unfortunate, taking bad advice is a Serious matter!!
