SAme with the cleaver..trimmed it to the moon and once the nose broke free all it did was porpoise. Im thinking either a bravo or a rev4 is going to be the ticket, but before I start buying more props I need to wait untill I see how much hp Im gping to be making...
New motor gen5 454 mag bottom end, alum heads (not sure which yet, but the intakes will stay under 320) 500hp efi roller cam and holley dominator EFI... probably stainless marine for the exhaust

10-05-2015 12:25 AMYeah, mine had more hook on one side than the other. I ground both sides and re-gelled; the bottom was approx. 1 1/2" thick so I could get away with this fix.

10-07-2015 01:34 AMNo. The difference was about 1/4". Mine is an '88, it is built well. I got lucky, some were not built so well; print-through, wavy bottoms, etc.

Its gonna be another expensive ass winter..... So far we have a set of 280's to put on, imco dual ram steering to mount, stainless marine exhaust, And then there is the motor project.....

yeah buddy!!!! got home from work to find a box on the porch.. inside 2 shiny imco rams, rear cover mount, transom mounts well you get the picture.... The living room is filling up with boat parts again, big shiny expensive boat parts tabs, pumps, exhaust, intake, fuel injection.................
