Check into shipping cost, too.
Might be cheaper to ship to a US location with "if it fits, it ships" deal.

We have a cottage in Washington State that I use for shipping and my Direct TV. The UPS store also holds packages for pick up, done it a few times and works well.

We have a new Japanese place here that serves all you can eat sushi. Good value because what I order at the normal restaurant comes to $30. All you can eat is $19.95 and get about triple the food. So that's what I plan for dinner.

04-06-2013 09:25 PMHey Mac, how are you doing?
The thread was so big, it not only slowed the site to a crawl, but made it impossible to do any updates to the software (we are still battling that one). The systems would time out before anything was ever completed. I guess we found out why all of the software comes with automatic prune features (that we had turned off). That's why old threads never get really big anywhere. You set the software parameters, it automatically goes in and prunes thread posts that fall within those parameters.Getting bad advice is unfortunate, taking bad advice is a Serious matter!!

04-07-2013 08:45 AMIt was a really tough thing to do I can tell you. Some of the conversations we had in there were outstanding. I now know why it was the biggest thread ever in a VBulletin site though. And I will not turn on that automatic prune feature. If it gets so huge again we can't keep it I'll do another update add to what there was and manually prune the middle of the thread a page at a time again. Takes a long time, but really is the only way to do it.
I also went in and printed out everyones post counts before the pruning and manually adjusted them to what they were. Guys like David went way down, as you can imagine.Getting bad advice is unfortunate, taking bad advice is a Serious matter!!
