That boat definately did not come from Cigarette rigged that way, if it is even a Cigarette to begin with. There were many Cig 28 & 27 Magnum hull pops over the years. Some were served cease & desist orders, others not. That deck does not resemble anything Cigarette ever tooled up, on a 28. It was somebody's pipe dream.

Once I removed the engine box, you could see where a box would land for a single engine. Problem is, is that the stringers would never accommodate a single engine. Could someone have closed A deck in? Almost anything can be done with glasswork. The transom board inside also resembles other 28's I have seen. It has a taller center section. The title also states Cigarette.
