Man, I got nothing here.
I've never heard of them building a 47, and can't find any record of it.
The pics just don't look "Pantera", they look "Fountain" to me."Keep the bottle on the bar Ira, I won't be long".

Nice work Paul.
I'm waiting to hear back from the GR CL guy with an HIN.
We can do some more detective work with a bit more info..."Keep the bottle on the bar Ira, I won't be long".

I saw the ad, didn't think it was THE Pantera...
I did n't think they ever made anything that big, but...wadda I know.
Happy hunting!!

I talked to Randy the owner via e-mail, and he sent me a few more pics and the HIN. No, this is not a PP/JO Pantera. The HIN is PPF, which is PANTERA POWER BOATS, OVERLAND PARK KS
Still looks like a nice piece
This is the info he gave me:
"Long story short, I bought the boat in
1999. I was told by Don Aronow's executive sales manager -- it was
Aronow's layup schedule in their 45' deep vee mold w/2' swim platform
built by Pantera.""Keep the bottle on the bar Ira, I won't be long".

02-13-2012 07:46 PMThat is a really good looking boat.....
625hp in front of bravo 1's, hmmmmm
Did he say what it weighed???Getting bad advice is unfortunate, taking bad advice is a Serious matter!!

No, I failed to ask about weight or speed.
It looks like a helluva a lot of boat. If I were to guess, I'm thinking 12,000 lbs and mid 70's.
But that is honestly a stab in the dark, and just a guess/opinion.
Yeah, 625 in front of B-1s is pushing a bit with that much hull, but with 3 of them...
I think you'd be safe as long as you're not a maniac."Keep the bottle on the bar Ira, I won't be long".
