At least 16 boats were on fire early this morning at a marina in Seneca, Ill., according to authorities and witnesses.
The blaze started about 2 a.m. at the Spring Brook Marina, 623 North 2553rd Road, which is located about 75 miles from Chicago, southwest of Morris.
Anyone have their boat there? I sure hope not.....Getting bad advice is unfortunate, taking bad advice is a Serious matter!!

Marina fire probe continues
The State Fire Marshal's Office is continuing to investigate the fire that struck Spring Brook Marina in Seneca two weeks ago.
More than a dozen drydocked cabin cruisers were destroyed by fire the night of Jan. 11-12. No one was hurt in the blaze. A number of other boats and a storage building were damaged.
The spokeswoman for the Fire Marshal's Office in Chicago said Thursday it has not been determined if the fire was accidental or deliberately set, adding insurance companies continue to evaluate the extent of the losses. She noted the fire has not been linked to any other fires in La Salle County.
As far as when the investigation might be complete, the spokeswoman said, "It will take some time."
