This weekend, I participated in the Ft. Myers Offshore, Jan Useppa Island run. Thank you Bob and the entire FMO team for yet another great day of hi-performance boating. I knew the low tide Sat morning would prevent me from getting my boat off the lift, as you can see in my pictures the river was very dry. On Fri I moved my boat to my brother-in-laws dock, behind a lock, so the tide wound not be a factor. We spend from 8:30 until about 4:00 boating, what a great day. I ran 114 miles, burned 52.5 gallons of 93 octane, that's 2.17mpg.

Here are 3 pictures that came our exceptional, and since I have 18m pixels for each, I am considering making some poster size prints.

Thanks you all, for the comments about the pictures.
Just about everyone, seems to really like that dock shot. That picture was taken 7:15am, about 20 minutes before low tide, and at that time I had about 2ft 6in of water out at my lift (I checked), 360ft out into the river. On that Sat morning it was dry out to about 100ft. Other times with the winter tides it can be dry out to 180ft. People often ask me why my dock is so long, and I show them pictures like those I posted.
