What better way to spend a hot summer day? Or a cold spring or fall afternoon for that matter?
I've been going nuts the last two years being out of commission and not being able to just take off for the day and hit the lake. I've had access to other peoples boats, but its not the same.
April can't come fast enough.

Got my first boat at about 14. Started my twins boating at 6 weeks old. They are going on 19, they want there own boat. Told them they have to have some money in bank before I turned them loose. They had no idea how much it cost to keep up with owning a boat. They are waiting for now.

I like the feeling of 16 Chevy cylinders screaming behind me while they propel me over the nasty salt water.

I even change the lyrics to songs to make them about boating. The new Kid Rock/Uncle Cracker song "good to be me" pretty much describes the feeling. But you have to change the words "throttles laid down in the open sea....
