Offshore Racing wasn´t designed to be a spectator sport, it's for people or companies with's lots of money to push the envelope of endurance technology and hopefully put a trophy on a mantle. It's man vs the elements, not like boats with like engines running in circles.

Can't believe anyone is here!!!!
Well,
good news is I have all the time to work on it.
Bad news is I just lost my job!!!
So I have time to work on it, but no extra money to sink in it.
This is why I have been buying items I knew I would need to get things done as I saw the lay-off on the way.
Wife will let me touch the "eggnest" to pay bills, but not for boat parts.
I wonn't put anything on a credit card so I might be doing some swapping or bartering untill I get another job.
It is kinda nice not being gone 14-15 hrs a day, but I miss the $$$.
(going from $125k yr to unemployed sucks)
It have only been a few weeks and I am starting to get things
orginized in priority as far as what I need/want to do.
I may just have to sell it, just so I do not have to pay to keep it at storage .
I do not know what would be worth, parting it out would probably be the best???
I would rather finish it, as all it really needs to put it in the water is motors done and installed.
It really needs nothing else.
the cabin needs little $$$, as I have been buying items for it.
Now I have the time, I can get the cabin mostly done, as far as upholstry, that will have to wait.
I wish I could have just bought a couple of drop in motors and been done with the motor deal.
Thanks for asking,
Take care,
Johnny

Nope, haggin on to it and working on it!!!!!
Got a couple of coals in the fire for work.two compaines want me after the first of the year and have a meeting this coming Monday with a company president I had already interviewed with.
So looking good.
I told my wife that I may have to sell the boat/motors and she said "hell no".
Even though she has not put a dime in it, she wants it... go figure..
Will be bringing home once I see the weather is clear..
I am trying to sell the blowers, but if not I will maybe put on.

well,
Alot has gone on in a year, I still have the boat. Even put it up for sale once or twice....
motors are still in the garage and finally ordered bearings and gasket for the rebuilt motor.
Not sure if I will put roller cams back in them as I have not found any that are in my budget.
the flat tappet cams are still there but will have to get new lifters.
But the bottom ends will be complete(minus cams) heads are done.
got a couple of quotes to put the motors back in....
Just need to get a job or my business to get off the ground and take care of me.
