06-03-2010 08:25 AMBill and I raced together for years. He and Bobby Moore, Big Dirty and I had some real fun and some success. Bill later backed my Nova Marine company. I can say without a doubt, that Bill was the nicest, most unpretentious man I ever met.

Brownie
I have to agree with you on that about Bill.
Bill raced Street Stock cars at the old Wall Stadium on the Jersey Shore for many years, and it was the lowest class of cars that raced there and Bill was just one of the guys each Saturday night, just having some fun.
A class guy .
Thank you
RIP

A sad year.
Crouse before and now Wishnick.
His boats have all made history in the Offshore.
He is among the greatest players of our sport.
I hadn't the pleasure to know him personally but now I cry him.

06-05-2010 07:55 AMI used to see Bill every morning at the 7-11 in Point Pleasant Beach where we'd both get our coffee and newspaper and talk about racing...and his Z-28 "Bear Cat." He was a great guy and a true offshore legend.
